The inaugural Taiwan International Plastics, Rubber, and Composite Material Fair (PMT), organized under the guidance of the International Trade Administration and hosted by Venturap Conference & Exhibition Co Ltd., will be rescheduled to June 4-6, 2025, to accommodate the schedules of international buyers. Co-organized by the Taiwan Plastics Industry Association and the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei, among others, the event will focus on sustainability, circularity, and connectivity. Concurrently, the PMT SUMMIT - a forum for innovation in the plastics and rubber industries, an international buyer matchmaking event integrating virtual and physical, and a matchmaking event for industry resources and innovation development will be held. The inaugural event is expected to attract 250 exhibitors and over 9,000 professional visitors from more than 40 countries and regions, with over 40 international buyer matchmaking events planned involving representatives from over 20 countries.

The exhibition has garnered attention from various professional media outlets around the world, including Japan's Bioplastics Journal, Mexico's Ambiente Plastico, Italy's Macplas, Southeast Asia's Plastics & Rubber Asia, and Europe's renowned composite materials media JEC COMPOSITES, all arranging coverage. With the recent launch of Chinaplas, Asia's premier rubber and plastics expo, the organizing team of PMT, commissioned by the Taiwan Plastics Industry Association, established the Taiwan Pavilion at Hall 6.2, featuring participation from several Taiwanese companies such as TYC ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY, CHIAO FU MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY, HWA PAO RESINS CHEMICAL, and RIH SONG SPECIALTY MATERIAL. Their presence at the expo has led to successful overseas expansion efforts and fruitful outcomes.

The PMT curatorial team has been actively promoting the exhibition across various zones, inviting international exhibitors, collecting information on international buyers, and extending invitations for buyers to visit Taiwan for procurement of high-quality Taiwanese products. Looking forward to 2025, the exhibition will be held at the premier exhibition venue in Southern Taiwan, the ICC Tainan. It aims to be a specialized exhibition for Taiwan's plastics, rubber, and composite materials industry, guiding industry trends and strengthening international connections. By reshaping the trends in the Asia-Pacific region's rubber and plastics industry and establishing itself as a procurement center, Taiwan seeks to provide international buyers with comprehensive one-stop procurement services.
